best december ever...the kick off....

december 5:

we started off with a mexican fiesta hosted by brandon's amazing mother.

her cooking is superb.

{i was dying over the taquitos!}she ever set us our own table.

the spread.

just so you know, i consumed:

two chicken tacos

four beef taquitos

chips and quac

two helpings of beans

three helpings of beef enchilada casserole

and two pina coladas...

needless to say i was sick afterwards.

but it was oh so worth it.

then: we were off to temple square to savor the light display...

but of course i still had to have a hot cocoa at temple square.

the twinkle lights were magical.

the floating lights on the pond was my favorite!

i wish it was christmas all year.

im so in love with all the lights.

we heart our friends.

that's not all:

sorry for the friends...they got locked out of their own house (long story).

so we ended out kick-off party with...

a slumber party!

playing word warp in bed.

also playing word warp in his temporary bed.

we pulled in one of our guest beds and that is where i took sometime to savor the new IKEA magazine (i like house ideas) and went sleepy.

i was giddy of course. (im crazier than you can believe)

i love having friends over and this surprise sleepy was super exciting for me.

i love this december already!
