On Friday, we went to a local pumpkin patch/halloween carnival!!
It was so much fun, and the weather was even cool, so I could wear a jacket, hat, and scarf
(this means a lot to me, since it is always warm here, and sometimes I don't always want warm)!
I have decided I am carving a white pumpkin this year!
They are gorgeous!
And you can't leave without a cheesy "family" shot! Duh!!!
I love October, and I love that is has been rainy here the last week!
You can't truly celebrate fall when it is 80 degrees and sunny! Stop being so crazy california... you are making us miss Utah so much right now (Utah has the best fall!)

What a fun trip! Isn't it funny how California warms up in the fall? I remember the year I lived in San Francisco, that warm fall made me miss New England SO much!

you have to drive a bit to find fall in california, but when you do, it's wonderful. :) we used to spend fall up at my grandmother's cabin near yosemite... i will always remember the bright coloured leaves and the crisp air and the yummy hot cocoa at the ahwahnee hotel's restaurant. :) have you been to oak glen/riley's farm? it's in the san bernadino mountains, it's less than two hours from where i am (huntington beach area). and goodness, it's so pretty there, especially in the fall! i love the apple orchards and pumpkin patches you can wander through. and the best part is coming home with bushels and bushels of the yummiest apples ever!
