We first "met" our little baby at 10 weeks. When it appeared on the screen we both said, "oh my gosh, it's a little gummy bear." We instantly fell in love, and it made the puking (and all the other times) on the busy streets of Chicago, in the middle of lunch hour, in front of hundreds, totally worth it! The baby even danced for us and wiggled around until it flipped over so its back was facing us. It was basically the cutest thing in the world!
Our doctor told us it was measuring perfectly, the heartbeat was right on, and everything was looking just perfect. We were so happy and so relieved. The second we were done with our appointment I immediately text our families and close friends the picture of our gummy bear. They probably didn't think it was as cute as we did, but we have already become those annoying parents who think their child is the cutest/greatest thing ever!! I mean, but really I love this little nugget so much it hurts!

I so can understand you :) I had an appointment at my gyn´s yesterday, I´m 11 weeks pregnant right now, and when I saw my little guy, I had similar thoughts, althoug I was more distracted ba his/her little legs paddeling around ;)

So cute--and its not annoying until you are the parents who talk about your child's bodily functions throughout the whole of dinner to people {me} who don't have a clue about babies. It put me off my meal quite a bit!
